Promotional poster for ISTT

I created this promotional membership flier for the International Society for Transgenic Technologies (ISTT)’s 2025 meeting in Basel, Switzerland. The flier was meant to advertise the benefits of joining ISTT to potential members.

The ISTT is a global collective of scientists committed to advancing transgenic research and technologies. These efforts critically underpin biomedical advancements which drive the mitigation of diseases like cancer.

In creating this flier, specific content and design choices were made. While I did opt for bright, eye-catching color, scientific elements were depicted with accuracy. At the top is an accurate CRISPR-Cas9 complex, created using the crystal structure from the RCSB Protein Databank. It includes the Cas9 endonuclease (blue) holding DNA (grey), which is annealing to guide RNA (red). CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing technology has revolutionized the field of transgenics within the last decade. As the generation of transgenic models involves microinjection, a blastocyst cross-section is depicted at the flier’s center. The blastocyst is stylized to draw the viewer’s attention, and to highlight its cellular structure. To its upper left, a single cell in suspension is depicted more realistically, as though it is being viewed under a microscope. Since the ISTT already had a logo (upper left), I opted to simply update its resolution for print media, and to draw attention to it with a white glowing background.

This flier was created using Procreate, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Social media posts for mimivax, inc.

I’ve developed social media content for the Buffalo-based biotech Mimivax, Inc. By mixing custom-designed assets with template-based design, I developed a cohesive set of images that grab attention to deliver the company’s important updates. These posts were used on Twitter(X) and LinkedIn.
